Fungal development on the emulsion
The molds present on this pint were identified as the species Aspergillus nidulans. The white filaments visible on the print’s surface are the hyphaes, they are strongly anchored into the emulsion’s gelatin and impossible to remove without damaging it. Thus, it is necessary to disinfect the print.
